Pinchas Weiss
MSW Clinical Social
Worker Expert in Complex Trauma.
“Mivtach” association was established after years of work in the public service, understanding the need to establish a unique treatment center for the Haredi sector. The center aims to provide a professional, high-level response tailored to the needs of the Haredi community, complex trauma victims and their families.
The “Mivtach” association provides a response to all the above through three main centers:
The association is composed of a large professional team of social workers, psychologists, criminologists, and psychiatrists. Every day, we provide initial counseling and assistance to dozens of calls from parents, rabbis, and especially complex trauma victims who need professional guidance and support.
The main goal of the treatment process is to process trauma and provide the ability to cope properly, returning to optimal functioning in society and family life. Our mission is to make complex trauma treatment services accessible to the Haredi community.
In addition, the association offers prevention programs, including parenting workshops and professional study days for professionals and rabbis.

My name is Pinchas Weiss, a certified MSW expert in complex trauma, CEO and founder of Mivtach Association. Our goal is to provide psychological assistance, support, and professional response to candidates dealing with complex trauma and their families, through a therapeutic process that enables them to return to safe and healthy lives, God willing.
In recent years, I have had the privilege of accompanying hundreds of families of children and adolescents in counselling and advisory processes and working closely with the welfare and law enforcement authorities, with the blessing and support of Israel’s great leaders, may they live long and healthy lives.
Statistics show that one of the main ways to achieve optimal and safe parenting is by increasing parental dialogue, with the clear purpose of strengthening the relationship with their children and thus reducing situations that may result in harm.
In conclusion, the core of our work begins with us, the adults (parents, teachers), because when we have sufficient knowledge and clarity, we can pass it on to the next generation in various ways and with a clear goal: to minimize situations that may result in harm as much as possible.
In the last five years, we had the privilege to work with Pinchas Weiss, founder and director of the Magen Security Center. Our entire team at the “Magen” support center benefits from his experience, professionalism, and dedication to complex trauma victims in the Haredi community. We are pleased that Pinchas has chosen to take his expertise one step further and create the Magen Treatment Center, which will be a valuable resource for our community. He has gathered highly trained professionals with extensive training, who will work with high sensitivity and maximum understanding of the needs of Haredi clients. We look forward to many years of productive work with Magen. , .”

As part of my work with thousands of mothers, of course, the subject of protection is one of the most widespread and sought-after. With God’s help, I turned to Rabbi Pinchas Weiss to sharpen and clarify issues, and I was impressed by the clarity and sharpness, not only on how to protect children and care for them and their parents, but also from a more critical perspective, on how to prevent these injuries in advance, and not to reach these places at all.

I worked with Rabbi Pinchas Weiss at the Noam Elimelech Yeshiva and we brought many very important cases to him for treatment. Along the way, I saw how unique and dedicated his work is. He delves into details of diagnosis like almost no one else. And all with respect, pleasantness, and a smile that is always on his face. The only goal that stands before his eyes is to help the person who came to him, whether it’s a young person, a teenager, an adult, parents, or educators, and he does everything with loyalty and discretion. Rabbi Pinchas is the right person and I highly recommend him.

We are delighted to recommend the professional and humane work of Rabbi Pinchas Weiss. I personally encountered his professional work while serving as the former manager of the “Mital” center in Beit Shemesh, in a joint effort for the benefit of the patients. Rabbi Weiss brings a professional, humane, and culturally sensitive approach to the therapeutic space in the community. The establishment of the “Mivtachim” center is an additional contribution to the community’s activities. Creating a suitable and tailored therapeutic response to the patients’ needs while deepening the community’s understanding and unique needs of the Haredi community.

Pinchas worked at the municipal welfare department of Beit Shemesh as a community and police officer. During his work, he provided significant assistance to youth centers and collaborated with community rabbis and youth center staff. Additionally, he assisted many families who unfortunately dealt with family-related issues. Pinchas supported them professionally and discreetly, providing guidance and assistance, particularly when dealing with the complexities of welfare and legal authorities. Even today, Pinchas continues to provide sensitive and professional assistance to families through the “Mivtach” association.
